Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner! Mrs. Medve is the school counselor for Bess Campbell Elementary. On this page you will find helpful resources and information regarding the counselor program at Bess Campbell Elementary. 

Character Counts is a character education program that focuses on building positive values in students through the six pillars of character. Those six pillars are: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. The six pillars are a framework for teaching good character and promoting positive behavior within our school as well as outside of school. Each grade level will receive monthly lessons from Mrs. Medve on each character trait. Students also have a chance to earn character counts cards which can earn them monthly lunches with Mrs. Medve to celebrate their good character with their peers.

Bess Campbell Elementary prides itself on being a No Place for Hate campus since 2015. We do not tolerate bullying within our school and provide tools to students to help prevent and stand up against bullying.
